1 teaspoon mustard seeds

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 Serrano pepper, chopped

1 yellow onion, chopped

1 tablespoon garlic, minced

¼ cup water

2 teaspoons garam masala

¼ teaspoon chili powder

½ teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1 pound beef, ground

A pinch of sea salt

Black pepper to taste

3 carrot, chopped

10 ounces coconut milk


Heat up a pan with oil over medium-high heat. Add mustard seeds, stir and toast them for 1 minute. Add Serrano pepper, onion and garlic, cooking for 1 minute. Add beef, salt, black pepper, coriander powder, turmeric, chili, garam masala, carrot, water and again cook for 5 mins. Finally add coconut milk and cook for 15 minutes. Divide curry into bowls and serve.
